Today, Alejandro Pérez Matus, scientific advisor to Filantropía Cortés Solari, shares his invitation as he heads to the 3rd World Congress of Marine Stations (WCMS 2026), which begins tomorrow, September 1, and will take place in Canada through September 4.
Together with Esteban Tapia, Director of Reserva Elemental Melimoyu, they will present to the international scientific community the potential of Reserva Elemental Melimoyu, established by Fundación MERI (Melimoyu Ecosystem Research Institute), as a marine research station.
This gathering brings together marine research stations from around the world to strengthen scientific collaboration, share knowledge, and forge new partnerships to address the major challenges facing our oceans.
