Our website address is: https://fundacionmeri.cl/en/. We are Fundación MERI, an institution of Filantropía Cortés Solari dedicated to promoting climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation through the promotion of science, environmental education, and community engagement.

Our website is built on WordPress and features a news section. However, we do not allow user registration, profile creation, file uploads, or the publication of comments, so data collection is strictly limited to our communications and traffic analysis.
Mailing and Newsletter Subscription
If you decide to subscribe to our newsletter, we will collect the data requested in the form (name and email address). We use this information exclusively to send you updates, news, and new releases about our programs and foundations. For the management and delivery of these emails, we use the FromDoppler platform, which processes and stores this data under strict security standards.
Direct Contact
If you communicate with us through our contact email (info@fundacionmeri.cl), we will keep your message, email, and name solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiries or requests.
Web Analytics and Security
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site (most visited pages, general location, etc.). This information is anonymous and aggregated. In addition, we use security plugins (Wordfence) that may temporarily log IP addresses for the sole purpose of protecting the platform against cyberattacks, spam blocking, or malicious traffic.
