Patricia Morales Errazuriz
CEO of Philanthropy Cortés Solari (PCS)
Patricia Morales Errázuriz is CEO of Philanthropy Cortés Solari (PCS), a Chilean philanthropic group founded by Francisca Cortés Solari, that promotes comprehensive and sustainable development through Science, Education and Conservation.
Among other responsibilities, she leads the organization of the IPCC and WMO Scientific Pavilion at the Conference of the Parties, from MERI Foundation, an institution that belong to PCS and develops scientific research and environmental education for the conservation of strategic ecosystems to mitigate Climate Change, as well as the implementation of innovation projects for the conservation of ecosystem services essential for CO2 capture.
Before assuming this position, Patricia held prominent leadership positions associated with the design, evaluation and implementation of projects and public policies in issues related to economic, environmental, and social development in Chile.
She was Executive Director of Progresa Foundation, a Progressist Think Tank, where she was responsible for defining the Foundation’s annual action plans and strategic guidelines, together with its Board of Directors.
Prior to that, she directed the World Bank Unit of CONICYT Chile, where she was responsible for implementing the Innovation for Competitiveness Program together with the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism (MINECON) of Chile.
Patricia is an Economist of the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Master of Arts in Economics, from the Paris School of Economics (France), with university teaching experience in International Economics and Econometrics.
She was the founder and president of the Chilean Progressive Party.
